Portage, Indiana

Where in Indiana? Well, right here. Now, there is not a whole bunch in Portage, Indiana besides snow, a Great Lake and an IMAX. But there is one place that is a must visit if you are ever in the greater Chicago area. Depot Dogs!

If you know anything about Chicago, and more specifically food in Chicago, they love their hot dogs. Pizza there is great, and I am sure there will be a post about the pizza there at some point, but this one is the hot dog. Vienna Beef, Polish, mustard, peppers, celery salt, the works! This caboose style Hot Dog joint has been open for over 20 years and sits in the last stop to get to Lake Michigan!

They have hot dogs, fries and RC pop. Green River is a personal favorite of mine a well. They have hot dogs called the Bulldog, Razzdo, and the Sasquatch.

Tell the owner that your a Gator fan and you are more than likely gonna get a free pop
